AES COLLECTIVE PTE. LTD. recognises the importance of environmental, social and governance considerations in international commodity markets.
As a company operating in commodity trading, structured finance, commercial intelligence and transaction coordination, we understand that responsible business conduct is essential to long-term value, market credibility and counterparty trust.
1.Environmental Awareness
AES COLLECTIVE acknowledges that commodity markets, particularly energy, coal and mining-related sectors, have environmental impact.
Where commercially and practically possible, we aim to support transaction processes that consider:
- Product origin and documentation;
- Supply chain transparency;
- Responsible sourcing expectations;
- Environmental risk awareness;
- Applicable regulatory standards;
- Long-term transition dynamics in global energy markets.
We do not claim to eliminate environmental impact, but we aim to engage with commercially credible counterparties and support greater transparency in transaction review.
2.Social Responsibility
AES COLLECTIVE expects counterparties to operate lawfully and responsibly in relation to labour standards, human rights and ethical conduct.
We do not knowingly support transactions connected to:
- Forced labour;
- Human trafficking;
- Child labour;
- Illegal extraction or production;
- Serious human rights abuse;
- Misleading or exploitative commercial practices.
Where concerns arise, AES COLLECTIVE may request additional documentation or discontinue engagement.
3.Governance
Good governance is central to our business approach. We aim to support commodity transactions through:
- Counterparty due diligence;
- Documentation review;
- Fraud-risk awareness;
- Compliance-led communication;
- Clear internal decision-making;
- Respect for applicable laws and regulations;
- Commercial transparency.
4.Responsible Sourcing
AES COLLECTIVE supports responsible sourcing principles and encourages counterparties to provide accurate information regarding product origin, ownership, documentation, logistics and supply chain structure.
We may decline transactions where sourcing information is incomplete, inconsistent or raises legal, ethical or reputational concerns.
5.Continuous Improvement
Our ESG approach will continue to develop as our operations, markets, counterparties and regulatory expectations evolve.
This statement reflects our current position and may be updated periodically.
