AES COLLECTIVE PTE. LTD. is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency and risk awareness across international commodity markets.
Commodity transactions can involve complex commercial, legal, financial, logistical and regulatory risks. Our compliance approach is designed to support responsible engagement with qualified counterparties and to reduce exposure to fraud, misrepresentation, sanctions risk, documentation risk and non-performing transactions.
1.Our Compliance Principles
AES COLLECTIVE aims to operate according to the following principles:
- Integrity in commercial conduct;
- Transparent communication with counterparties;
- Risk-based due diligence;
- Responsible sourcing awareness;
- Contract and documentation discipline;
- Fraud-risk identification;
- Respect for applicable laws and regulations;
- Refusal to engage in unlawful or unethical activity.
2.Counterparty Due Diligence
Before progressing selected commodity enquiries, we may request and review information such as:
- Company registration documents;
- Business profiles;
- Authorisation letters;
- Identity and role confirmation;
- Proof of product or proof of funds where applicable;
- Transaction history or commercial references;
- Beneficial ownership information where relevant;
- Sanctions and watchlist screening indicators;
- Supporting trade documentation.
The level of review may vary depending on transaction type, commodity class, jurisdiction, counterparty role and risk profile.
3.AML, KYC and Sanctions Awareness
AES COLLECTIVE supports a risk-based approach to anti-money laundering, know-your-customer and sanctions awareness.
We may refuse, suspend or discontinue engagement where concerns arise regarding:
- Identity or ownership uncertainty;
- False or inconsistent documentation;
- Sanctioned individuals, companies, vessels, jurisdictions or counterparties;
- Unusual payment structures;
- Lack of commercial credibility;
- Fraud indicators;
- Refusal to provide reasonable verification documents.
4.Fraud Prevention
Fraud risk is a significant concern in global commodity trading. AES COLLECTIVE applies caution when reviewing offers, mandates, allocations, proof documents and transaction claims.
We do not accept responsibility for third parties falsely claiming to represent AES COLLECTIVE or misusing our company name, branding or personnel details.
Any suspicious communication should be reported directly to us through our official contact channels.
5.Contract Integrity
No transaction should be considered valid, binding or approved unless it is documented in a written agreement signed by authorised representatives of the relevant parties.
AES COLLECTIVE does not recognise informal promises, unofficial allocation claims, unsupported mandates or verbal confirmations as binding commercial commitments.
6.Responsible Business Conduct
We aim to engage with counterparties that demonstrate responsible business behaviour, lawful operations and respect for applicable compliance expectations.
AES COLLECTIVE may decline engagement with any party or transaction where legal, reputational, ethical, sanctions, fraud or human rights concerns are identified.
